Chapter Twenty-One

Lou

My head is a little fuzzy, and yes, I am a little drunk, but that isn’t why I’m here with him. I’m here because I want him. Always have.

He kicks the door closed behind us and I grab his face in my hands, pulling his lips to mine. The sensations sweeping through and taking control of my body are mind-blowing. Every nerve is standing to attention as my blood pumps through my veins at an almighty speed, racing around. Need burns me as he takes from our not-so-gentle kiss.

The feel of his lips against mine is exactly how I remember. His hands slide down my back, taking hold and pulling my arse, bringing me closer to him.

I feel every ridge of his body. His erection pushing hard against me. Warmth surrounds me. My body trembles, my nerves getting the better of me. I move my hands from his face, allowing him to control our kiss. I slide my hands down his chest, pulling his shirt from his trousers. Fiddling with the buttons, I undo one then two buttons before moving my hand lower, against his hard erection. I gasp, feeling how much he wants me, wants this.

Working my hand back up his front, I find the next button and undo it before continuing to loosen the rest. I splay my hands on the firmness of his bare chest and he groans low, but I hear it.

His lips leave mine and it’s me who moans as he takes a step back, but his arms remain around me, holding on. His dark brown eyes flare with a deep burning heat before they seemingly smile at me and his gaze lowers over my body approvingly. Butterflies start in my stomach.

I smile and lower my eyes to the floor. There’s a deep sexual pull between us, always has been, and tonight, I don’t want to fight it.

If I’m honest with myself, I’m fed up of fighting my internal demons.

He tugs the hem of my dress. It rises ever so slowly, until it’s bunched around my waist. With his hands taking hold of my thighs, he lifts me. I giggle, wrapping my legs around his waist, and he carries me through the apartment.

He sets me down, ensuring my core rubs against his erection. I gasp before his lips descend on mine once again. But all too quickly, before I even get a chance to respond, they leave me. I stand, drinking him in. I lower his shirt from his shoulders, and it falls unceremoniously to his bedroom floor, exposing broader shoulders than I remember. His abs and chest are firm, and I watch as his chest rises and falls.

I have no desire to take in my surroundings. My attention is on the man before me and only him. He’s all I see.

He takes a step closer to me and pulls my dress up and over my head. It falls to the floor as his eyes drift over my body. I’m standing before him in my bra and knickers and a pair of black heels.
